The Rivalry Returns!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea you heard correctly, The Heat and The Knicks are back at it again. Last nights victory over The Miami Heat is the first step towards the restoration of the old Knicks/Heat rivalry of the 90s. As we all know, this level of play was not made achievable until The Knicks went out and acquired Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups in an attempt to help out their superstar Amar'e Stoudemire just after the All-Star weekend. In their 3rd game together, the new-look Knicks prove to have a very promising future as they use defense and big shots down the stretch to shut out arguably one of the leagues most dangerous and potent teams. What is really surprising is that The Knicks who are not known for their defense showed up big defensively in the last quarter to stop the Heats lethal attack. Chauncey Billups recorded two solo steals and Amar'e Stoudemire played great help side D and blocked a Lebron James layup that was surely bound to result in two points. The icing on the cake however both in the trade and in this game was Mr. Big Shot. Along with those two steals, Billups also hit a running floater on a play where he was clearly fouled but no call was made and a crucial 3 with just over a minute left to play as he caught D Wade sleeping on D. All in all, I'd say it was a tough, scrappy win that reminds me of the days of old when The Heat and The Knicks would scrap it out on the court both in and out of the playoffs...... As I stated earlier, the rivalry is certainly back, and we can expect more playoff caliber games between these two teams in the future.

Yung Gunners: Wiz Khalifa

Its your boy The Prototype, back at it again with my Yung Gunners series. This stop on our Yung Gunners tour brings us to Pittsburgh's own Wiz Khalifa. Voted MTVs Hottest Breakthrough Artist of 2010, he is definitely deserving of all the hype he's been receiving recently. First being noticed on a major scale when he dropped his single "Say Yeah," Wiz has done nothing but progress and continue to amaze. Although he may not match up to some of the other artists on my list from a content aspect, he has a flow and delivery that is more addictive than raw cocaine and he is gifted with the ability of stellar lyrical construction (his lyrics are well placed and are always in rhythm with the beat). Not to mention his fresh and mellow style that seems to grab hold of his audience, he is a force to be reckoned with. Expect more greatness to flow from this man's brain to the ears of listeners. Taylor Gang Or Die!!!!!!

Next Up: J. Cole, Reppin Tha Ville all day everyday!!!

Yung Gunners: Wale

The Prototype welcomes you to the first highlighted artist of our Yung Gunners series. Keep in mind that these artists are not in any particular order as far as talent is concerned, just based on who pops into my head next. I just finished listening to the 100 Miles and Running Mixtape by Wale. First off I will like to congratulate the big homie on being signed to Maybach Music Group and having the Roc Nation team behind him to push him forward and out there into the mainstream. Wale has a very unique style and delivery. He incorporates his hometown gogo music into his raps while at the same time keeping it real and addressing topics that mean something. With his unique style and delivery he is definitely a blessing to a rap game that has fell from Biggie, Nas, and Big L to Lil Wayne, Lil B, and Soulja Boy.....Get the point? All in all, if you love real music and real rap with a unique style you will love the homie Wale. Open up your ears and mind, I've provided his 100 Miles and Running Mixtape in two parts. Enjoy!!!
NEXT UP- Wiz Khalifa...BLACK AND YELLOW BLACK ANDYELLOW BLACK AND YELLOW!!!!

CurT@!n$ x The Killer Tape

I personally been a fan of the homie CurT@!n$ music for a while now since I seen him perform at SXSW a while back. He brings crazy energy with his performances and his style and sense of fashion are 1 of a kind. I usually dont promote alot of projects unless its preserving the culture of Hip-Hop so I highly recommend coppin this 1. Check out highsocietylife.com to download it. ~ P

A lot of artist spend most of their time explaining the concepts and the vision for their work. With that said..I’d like to Welcome you to the R3N@!SS@NC3.. ~ P
